How to Register & Pay for CSHS classes
There are several ways you can register for a class at CSHS - PayPal, Credit, Debit, Check or Money Order. Registering in any method assumes that you have read and understood our school policies. Pay Online with PayPal, Credit or Debit
You can use the PayPal buttons on our site to register & pay online with either your PayPal account, or your credit or debit card (a PayPal account isn't required). Navigate on our site to the description of the class you're interested in (scroll down to the end of longer descriptions). Select the sliding scale amount that you can afford to pay (if applicable) and then click the 'add to cart' button. You will be directed to a PayPal site that will allow you to either continue shopping or check out with PayPal, Credit or Debit card. Try 'printing' your receipt as a pdf to make your purchase completely paperless!
Check or Money Order
If you do not have the ability to pay with PayPal, credit or debit, you can mail a check or money order to CSHS. Download this registration form and follow instructions. If you are paying with credit or debit, you can do this through PayPal (you don't need a PayPal account).
Paying Remaining Class Balances
If you owe an amount different from one of the set PayPal buttons, you may pay your balance using PayPal ONLY if you have a PayPal account: login to PayPal and click on the 'send money' tab & send the appropriate amount to email@example.com. If you do not use or create a PayPal account, please mail a check or money order as directed above. If you aren't sure what you owe, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call (707)-887-7457.
Long-Term Class Registration
Roots of Herbalism: To register for the Roots of Herbalism / Foundations of Health longterm class, please post the application & deposit to us as described in the course description here.
All other Courses: Registration for the remaining long-term courses also requires a deposit of $250 to hold your place, as described in the class policies. You may select the PayPal option of paying the deposit or paying in full. If you are paying by Check or Money Order, download the registration form from the link above and include your payment of at least the amount of the deposit.
Sliding scale: We offer a sliding scale on the tuition for most of our classes. A sliding scale enables us to offer the classes to those who are unable to afford the full cost of the class. If you are able to pay the high end of the sliding scale please do, so that we can continue to offer a discount to those who truly need to pay at the
lower end of the scale. The top end of the sliding scale reflects the true cost of the class. Thank you for your cooperation and participation.
Cancellation Policy: For all of our long term courses (Roots of Herbalism & Foundations of Health, Intermediate Herbal Therapeutics, Handcrafted Herbalism & Body Systems) your deposit of $250 is non-refundable. For all other classes, refunds will be granted only if a student withdraws 30 days prior to the beginning class date. If the student gives less than 30 days notice, credit will be issued for future CSHS courses. The credit will be valid for one year. If the student gives less than 72 hours notice of cancellation no credit or refund is possible. CSHS requires a seven student minimum to hold any class. If a course must be cancelled a full refund will be given. Thank you for your understanding.
Camping: Overnight camping is available for our weekend programs. The fee is $10 per night, space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
Pets: Please do not bring any pets to school. Thank you.
